account security & 2fa

we strongly recommend a passkey or totp on every organizer account.

passkey (recommended)

settings → security → add passkey. works with face id, touch id, windows hello, or a yubikey. once set up, your laptop or phone is your second factor.

totp (also good)

scan the qr in settings with google authenticator, 1password, raivo, authy — any rfc-6238 app. store the recovery codes somewhere safe; losing them locks the account.

sms (discouraged)

we support sms as a last resort. it’s the weakest option — sim-swap attacks exist. we warn you about this when you enable it.

trusted devices

you can mark a device trusted for 30 days after the first sign-in. after 30 days, you’ll re-authenticate. you can revoke all trusted devices at once from settings if you think something is off.
