i can’t make the event

three options, in order of friction.

1. refund (if allowed)

check the event’s refund policy on the ticket or on the event page. if it’s refundable in the current window, orders → refund. instant.

2. transfer to a friend

send it to someone who can go. how to transfer. ticket gets re-issued in their name.

3. waitlist resale (if the organizer enabled it)

for sold-out shows, you can list your ticket on the event’s waitlist. the next person on the list buys it at face value; you get refunded when it re-sells.

what not to do

don’t sell the ticket on stubhub or facebook marketplace. we cancel duplicate-scan tickets and your friend gets turned away at the door.
